My K-1000 died in the Nevada desert almost 2 years ago. It's just a broken piece that can be fixed, but I haven't had the need to resurrect it just yet.

Interesting comment about how my perception will likely change in a year, especially once I forget the details of the experience of taking them. I suspect you're right about that.

As of now, I've put up less than half the roll on Flickr. I like a couple so far (fountain statues, Moravian St door, and Comcast Tower) but my favorites from the set are definitely still to come. (Along with some more clunkers. ;-) )

So, keep watching! And thanks, guys, for your feedback.

Awesome. My wife has two of those puppies. I think I like the Logan Square lady shots the best at first glance, but things can change. It will be interesting to come back to this roll in a year when you've forgotten what you visualized vs. what you got, what filter you were using, etc. I find it can take a long time for the real keepers to emerge.

Not too surprising that you didn't have me as a contact, since I wasn't doing anything with it at all!

I forgot to mention in the post. Out of this first group of four, I like the first one best; the iron church fence second.

The other two largely demonstrate that the shutter and aperture settings function correctly on the camera. ;-)
